My Time
I remember only a year ago you would have had to force me against my will in order to get me to perform outside of my bedroom, well the day came that I didn’t get that choice I had to perform on a stage in front of all my friends and family.
I know what was put on the line when performing, so it was crucial I do good. I just remember months in advance preparation for this showcase. I’ve never sung in front of a live audience before, I’ve only done acting.
Before I get back to the story let me tell you, this was a musical production that I did with Sunset Playhouse an acting school in Elm Grove, this was the first time I have ever done anything like this before, and I was ready.
It was production day and I was so nervous, I’ve never done anything like this before it was nerve racking, I had a panic attack going on stage I was breathing heavy, my palms were sweating and my stomach was in knots, I felt not prepared my friend was helping me calm down, it helped a lot. When I got on stage I sang my heart out like I never have before the feeling was amazing, I was so proud of myself, and the others around me were too.

I'm talking about the first time I acted on stage in front of a real live audience. And it was one of the first times I sang in front of people.
