Lying
Yet another day of restraining herself, of keeping her true thoughts locked inside her mind. She was so sick of this. She didn't understand it, in truth. So many of her problems, of everyone's problems, stemmed from being unable to share the truth. If she could stop leaving half-truths, denials, and omissions, she felt like she could finally be happy. She could stop living in silence. She could let loose some of the emotions and thoughts that pressed in on her. Instead of bubbling and boiling and roiling until she exploded, she could let off steam, little by little, as it came around, instead of letting it build up. She was so tired of pretending to be something she wasn't.
