To me a hero is someone who does amazing things at amazing times. That is why I chose Martin Luther King Jr. as my hero. Martin Luther King Jr. was an amazing man. When African American people needed him the most he stood up for what he believed and what he thought was the right thing to do. He has impacted everyone's lives in the whole wide world today. With his amazing speeches to his good deeds he changed the lives of all African American people. The world would not be the same without his encouragement, leadership, and determination. The impact he had on me is far larger than others in my mind. He made me what I am today. Think about how much more he could have done and would have done if he was not assassinated. It is amazing how much courage and determination he had to change not only the United States but the world also.
