You Asked if I'll Come Back...
You asked if I'll come back...of course I will. But I need to grow up on my own, not the way you tried to make me. I just can't do that anymore. I'm glad I'm leaving and I'm sorry you hurt. I'm sorry you need someone to make you happy, I'll remember not to be that way. You'll always be my daddy and I'll always be your little girl. But I can walk and talk, and think and love, and dream and pray...all without you. It may take a while to be happy, but like you always said...don't wish your life away.
