A room that may be boring to others but could be a whole life story to one. Some may see it as messy or unorganized. Others may see it as clean and neat. 

I see it as how my mind is thinking. How my body and mental health is currently doing. If it's clean I’m distracting myself. Trying to change something in my life. If it's messy there's a lot of stuff going on in my life. Sometimes it's hard to keep up with something so simple. 

If someone were in my room and lived in it, they wouldn’t see what all the small things mean to me. They won't see the memories I made and why I have the things in my room. Like how my penguin stuffed animal may be falling apart, but the scratches and stitches show you the adventures it's been on with me. Like when I lost him outside in the forest and couldn’t find him for a few days. Then my dog rushed over to us and showed us that she found it.

I love my room and can not change it for the world. I love having a place to go back to and knowing it's a safe, comforting area. To others, it may just look like a room but to me, it looks like a whole life story waiting to be told.
