Shades of Bias
I found Sanjana Kaicker's article, "Shades of Bias." extremely moving. It's both hard to hear and see what prejudice has done to our world and society. " Society, as a whole, should make an effort to be more accepting of everyone, regardless of their skin color ." Yes we may have darker or lighter skin color than others but that should not keep us from associating with one another. I agree the product is racist, wrong, and dangerous. Dark skinned people should and ought to be proud and not a shamed of what type of skin an individual has. Individuals around the world should not be negative towards dark skinned people, dark skinned people should have self respect. Thank you, Sanjana, we can both relate to each other on how society should be more accepting towards individuals that don't feel comfortable in their own skin.
