Feedback on poet
The poem "poet" by Megan Tyler is an exceptionally beautiful piece. The poem talks about what it means to be a poet, how meaningful and personal words become. It is filled with evocative meataphors that make poetry sound so, well poetic (pun intended.)
As a poet, this piece feels especially intimate. One line that I love reads, " the poet is...the angels/ who speak of the glistening beauty in the horrifying darkness of many common souls/". This section means so much to me because it is so true. Poetry can talk the deepest evil and extract sme beautiful
