"I Am Homeless" Response
In the November 2013 issue of Teen Ink, Amber Wilmington made my heart ache in her article “I am Homeless.” It made me realize how much we take for granted. This poor girl lost everything in a matter of months while some kids are complaining that they received a red iPod touch instead of a blue one. I guess you never really realize how much just having a simple house filled with family can mean until it’s gone. It was also enlightening that she’s trying to keep a positive attitude through all of her unlucky situations.
