Open Book Tests

I agree that everyone has those moments when they “draw a blank” or they lose their thoughts “mid-pen”, but that doesn’t mean that we should be able to take a test with all the answers sitting right in front of us. I’m sure if given the choice any high school student would choose an open book test over a “closed book” test. I just don’t think that open book tests really evaluate your knowledge of the material. All it really is evaluating is if you know how to use your book.
