"Plastic Perfection"
I enjoyed reading Cheryl Gray's article "Plastic Perfection". I liked it because the article showed the influence that one "perfectly" porportioned doll can have on young girls. This influence was proved through the article that Barbie had a lasting effecton young women all the way through our lives. I thought it was great that she did not put down Barbie as a role model but that Ms. Gray explained what types of influences are healthy and unhealthy for young women and girls. Thank you, Cheryl for your point of view on Barbie.
