Modern Slavery
Miriam Gleckman’s article titled Modern Slavery is disturbing, but not an overlieing issue. What would we do, even if we could fund a program, after we caught the “traffickers”? After we wressle our way through Packistan customs, the ones that don’t get out on parol or bail might get a hearing a year ater to sentence them to a few years behind bars. Our juditial system is so very corrupt that we would let these guys go andthey would be right back at it. This country hasent the guts to use capitol punishment on the traffickers. There has been bad people since the beginning of time, and in the middle east, the overbearing majority of the populus could land under that category. Besides, if you want to go after bad people, go for the ones we are at war with- the terrorists.
