Why My Vote Matters
I wholeheartedly agree with Kimberly H. in her article “Why my vote matters”. Many people do not fully understand the importance of voting. Many families come to the United States for a better life, let it be escaping persecution, or finding a job to provide for a family. Just like what Kimberly said “It's the reason why so many people call themselves U.S citizens”. America is defined by its people, and its diversity. My family came here from another country, so my siblings and I could have a better future. By voting we can control the direction this country is headed in, and make our own history. The right for life, liberty and pursuit of happiness is an inalienable right that we should always fight for. Thank You Kimberly for writing this important piece about the necessity of voting.
