Feedback on “A Note to Brett Kavanaugh”
“The bodies of women are not chess pieces” nor are they a game to be played by the corrupt hierarchy of society. Rian Miesen perfectly expresses what so many women, and people in general, are trying to say in “A Note to Brett Kavanaugh.” Brett Kavanaugh-- seriously?! In the note, Miesen expresses thoughts many people have experienced in just a few lines. Personally, I thought that the letter says what I couldn’t find the words to say. I knew the feeling that I was feeling but this note placed it into a coherent thought process. Ultimately, I loved how relatable the thoughts expressed in this work were. Rian, you satisfied every woman on Planet Earth’s thoughts. Thank you.
