Oceans of... blue? MAG
Listen to this:
“From sea to shining sea.”
I am sure you have all heard it before
A line from a simple song
That was meant to give our country hope and meaning.
But does it still apply?
Does the sea still shine?
The oceans here in Delaware have gone from a pretty green-blue
To a very dirty green-brown.
What are we doing to our waters?
Dumping gallons of filth in these waters
Day in and day out,
They make our oceans bland, not shiny as they once were.
Fish are dying
Ducks and other birds are getting caught in plastic
Or drenched with oil
And why?
What exactly is the reason?
There has to be another way to rid ourselves of the world’s trash.
The sea and its creatures cannot speak for themselves.
So, shouldn’t someone do it for them?
Help the world out and dispose of your trash properly
So that there is still a world out there for us to defend.
