Cleaning the Highway MAG
Every school term the J.R.O.T.C. Department cleans the highway we'veadopted. It's a lot of work but hey, somebody has to do it. I used tolitter all over. Since I started cleaning the grounds, I havestopped. The highway is so nasty and full of trash. I have reallylearned my lesson about littering; when I see others doing it, I trytalking to them about throwing it in the trash or holding it untilthey reach a trash can. All I have to say to anybody who litters istry cleaning a highway, neighborhood, park, etc. to see if you have achange of heart about littering. It has really changed me. To mecommunity service is very rewarding. It can do a lot in the long run.
