Shine Like the Stars, Smile Like the Moon
It was like she could feel the stars on her that night, like she was shining because of them. She looked through the people and strings of colored lights that lit up the summer night. Through it all she saw his smile shining like the stars she felt. Maybe that was the reason she felt herself glowing and gleaming. Their eyes caught and his pulled her in. She was floating, never wanting to stand still unless he was by her side. She felt the summer air disappear as they grew closer and she felt his fingers find their way between her own, where the belonged and she smiled like the moon in the sky.
