Excitement
Woof! He whirled around his shoe spinning on the newly mopped floor. He couldn't believe his ears. A smile wider than the world spread across his freckled face. His body seemed to perk up and he stared the beautiful new puppy in the eyes. Tears started to well in his eyes and he wanted to squeal and shout. Without even knowing it the puppy was lifted into his arms and he was hugging it so hard he thought he might strangle it. He ran his hand through the luscious fur and scratched behind its ears. He never forgot that moment and never let go of that feeling.
