drown your sorrows
drown your sorrows. drown them right there, in that cup you keep slowly sipping. the tears falling down your cheeks fading into the rim, as if trying to mix in with the thing you try to mask your pain with. it's been feeling like a knife in the middle of your chest for a while now and the liquid painkiller you're slowly sipping is only there while you pull out the double-sided blade. so just keep pulling, keep bleeding, keep sipping, keep crying, keep drowning your sorrows. it'll all be over soon.
