the oceans heart
I stuck my hand into the watery sand (a image of gravy came to mind)I sat quietly as the wind blew my hair and I listened as the fish jumped in and out of the water, they were taking turns showing off. While my feet waded in the water on the shore, smaller fish near the shore line had a burning curiosity of what my toes really were, inching closer at every chance they got and proving their bravery to each other. I noticed little waves of sand and small tunnels for smaller animals just before the shoreline under the water where the waves had pushed the sand; if you glance at it quickly they look like veins from the ocean in the edge of the shore. I wondered to myself, if those are the veins of the ocean then what would be the heart?
