The Last Standing
Words cannot describe the horror I've seen. All my comrades have fallen around me. There was nothing they could do, the force was too great to withstand. I am scared now, cold and alone. I'm worried that my fate will be the same as theirs. As I sit, I see the enemy reproach, weapon in hand. I close my eyes as he lefts loose with great force. The deathly object comes speeding down towards me. I think to myself, "I won't go down, I'm not falling like the others" but it's too late. I'm struck, knocked over. Defeated. As I fall into my eternal sleep I can hear the enemy cheering. What kind of...SICK JERKS are these people? Why are they rejoicing my death, have they no compassion? I see the gates close down on me and I rise into the air, towards that alley in the sky.
