It was June 17, and the sun was shining bright, outside the Warriors’ gym. It was the 4th quarter of a basketball championship game. This final shot will represent the whole season, which consisted of 27 games. A miss, will result in a disappointing end to a wonderful season. The Lakers’ coach has his best defenders in, to stop the other team from scoring. “It all comes down to this,” Lebron thought. Lebron was the best player on the team, leading them to the finals. He relied on his teammate to pass him the ball in a good position to make the shot.  “Tweet!” The refs blew the whistle to call the players onto the court. The Warriors’ best passer, Paul, inbounds the ball. Lebron escapes from his defender and calls for the ball. Paul feeds him a perfect pass, and Lebron shoots his best shot. The ball soars over all the defenders’ heads and goes towards the hoop. All of a sudden, the gym became pindrop silent, and everyone was on their feet. Lebron falls to floor, as he tripped while he was shooting. It was all a blur to him. He gets up, only to see the ball go through the net. His teammates tackle him down and cheer for him. The Warriors’ fans all cheering on their feet. The Lakers walk towards the locker rooms disappointed and ashamed of their loss. Final score, 56-57 Warriors win the championship. Lebron was proud and was in total shock and joy. This was the best game he had ever played!

I was trying to bring emotion into my story, and hopefully the reader could imagine themselves in the character's positon.  My goal was to detailedly explain to the reader the scene.
