Horowitz, Anthony. Scorpia. Speak, 2005. 0-399-24151-5. $15.65
Grade Level: High School. When I read this book, I was astonished by it. It is an extremely good book and the ending will shock you. Alex Rider is a teen spy who is the best MI6 has to offer because his uncle, who trained Alex, was part of MI6 but was killed. Every chapter has unique twists and turns that will keep you on the edge of your seat and you will not want to put this book down once you start. It is well written to the point where you can actually feel the pain that Alex Rider is going through. On Amazon this book received 4 ½ stars but I truly believe it should have gotten all five stars. Truly a very invigorating, outstanding, suspenseful book that will capture your attention and send you off into the dangerous world of spies.
