Today Was a Good Day
Last night I dreamt I was on Naples Beach drinking iced tea from Chick-fil-A with Ryan Renolds and looking at the great white sharks.“Hola,” he said to me with his neon green-looking eyes. Something seemed off. Then Leonardo Da Vinci came leaping towards us “Run, he’s not real, he’s a skinwalker!” As I ran what felt like 100 mph my feet felt tired and heavy like I was wearing winter boots. As I ran towards the neighborhood I saw a tall figure approaching me with something in its hands. Then I heard “What up bro, you’ve grown so much.” Confused I crept closer to the figure It was my buddy Abraham Lincoln with some bacon in his hands. “Hey man,” I said as I walked closer to him. “Wanna come to swim in Nick's pool?” “Nah.” As I started my walk home it started to rain. My favorite weather. Rain on a summer day. I put in my AirPods and I heard Ice Cube say “I can’t believe it was a good day.”
