Skyrim on PlayStation 3
Skyrim is a very interactive game not like any I have played before. I’m the type of person who usually just plays the new Call of Duty or NCAA Football, but I decided to give Skyrim a try. I bought it Black Friday shopping, and it may be the best video game purchase I have ever made. The open map playing style that allows the player to roam wherever they want and do whatever mission they want was a new concept. I was used to playing a storyline that was clear-cut and the player had to follow it. With all the side mission in Skyrim, it will keep a player busy for a very long time trying to beat them all. I will play for hours at a time and not realize the amount of time that has gone by; I may start playing at 9:00 PM and next thing I know its 4:00 in the morning. I also like how the player can decide how they want their character to be portrayed depending on who they side with and what missions that fulfill. Also, the amount of choices a player has for weapons in the game is tremendous. Even though I only use 2, it’s still fun to be able to experiment with other options. Overall I love Skyrim and still have lots of playing time ahead of me to finish the game.
