Sully: Miracle on the Hudson is an American biographical drama film directed by Clint Eastwood. It is based on a real story which is set on January 15. 2009. That is the day the miracle became true.

It was a normal day at work for starring Tom Hanks in the role of captain Chesley “Sully” Sullenberger and his colleague Aaron Eckhart as Jeffrey Skiles when they were taking off from New York. Both engines of the plane were disabled by a bird strike few minutes after they had taken off. So, the flight 1549 had to end up in the Hudson with 155 souls on board by solution of captain Sully. Everyone survived!

In my opinion it is one of the most breath-taking films I have ever seen. The plot is ingenious I must say. I really like that the film is based on a real story which is mind-blowing, especially for me. The special effects are impressive. The dialogue is often excellent I would say. Personally, I think Tom Hanks is magnificent in the role of captain Sully. I felt every emotion through his acting while I was watching the film. It was like he really had experience with this situation in the past. If I should rate this film, I think the film is positive at all. Maybe there are some little mistakes but no big one. On the other hand, I think that some soundtracks are missing in the film. In some parts of the film it would be good to add some to underline scenes.

At the end I must say that the whole story about the miracle is really extraordinary. It is not
a typical Hollywood’s film which everyone knows as nonlogical and with a lot of explosives.
It is brilliant. I recommend the Sully film to everyone. You should watch this film!
