Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige
I got about 70% of the way through this book before I lost all hope of it getting remotely entertaining. I'll give the author props for the overall idea for the novel, but it didn't meet my expectations. In all honesty, I thought it was boring. The plot was pretty much like every other novel with a girl who randomly gets magical powers and finds out she has to save a place she's never heard of. The main character and narrator, Snow, doesn't really have any redeemable qualities. She, like most of the characters in the book, is very one-dimensional. Plus, most of the novel was predictable and it should be stated that it represents mental disorders very poorly. Overall, this book is not worth reading especially when the author has written better stories.
