Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan
The Mark of Athena, written by Rick Riordan, is a fantasy book about the Greek and Romans gods. A continuation of the Percy Jackson series and the third book in the Heroes of Olympus series, this book follows 7 demigods: Leo, Piper, Jason, Hazel, Frank, Percy, and Annabeth and how they must search for the Athena Parthenos to unite two camps, the Greek camp called Camp Half-Blood and the Roman Camp called Camp Jupiter, who have been launched into a battle by Gaea, the goddess of the Earth, who is trying to awaken and destroy the world and doesn’t want the camps to stand in her way. After Camp Jupiter declares war on Camp Half-Blood, the seven demigods escape on their ship, the Argo II. The demigods are sent to Rome to save Nico di Angelo from the twin giants and Annabeth is sent to follow her mother’s path and find the Athena Parthenos. What happens next? You’ll have to read to find out!
