Escape Under the Forever Sky by Eve Yohalem
Have you ever thought about being kidnapped, and what would you do? In this book, you will find that Lucy is kidnapped by someone close, very close. Lucy is the daughter of the U.S. Ambassador to Ethiopia. Lucy's mom keeps her locked up inside the Ambassador's residence, 'for her own good.' Lucy was fed up with being on lockdown. So one day she and a friend took off. Suddenly, Lucy is kidnapped, that's when the adventure begins.
The author Eve Yohalem was a trained as an opera singer and moved into the literary world. She was inspired to write this book by a news article about a girl who had been kidnapped in Ethiopia.
I absolutely loved Escape Under the Forever Sky. I could not stop reading, because it absolutely grabs your attention, and puts you in as if you are a character. I highly recommend this book to adventure, mystery, and suspense lovers.
