This Isn't What It Looks Like by Pseudonymous Bosch
Now, it's up to the 4th utterly outrageous book in the Secret series. But unlike the other books of the series, this one isn't another adventure with our heroes, Cass, Max-Ernest, and Yo-Yoji. In the other books, they would work together toward their goal but in this book, it was all on Cass. Unfortunately, she ate some of the leftover chocolate made by the evil chef, Senor Hugo in the previous book and fell into a deep coma. She was sent to the hospital with Max-Ernest watching her day and night to see if she might suddenly wake up. It was said that the chocolate can take whoever ate it back to their ancestral past! Cass didn't just eat the chocolate for nothing. She recently found out that she was the Secret Keeper! What's a secret keeper without a secret to keep? So she eats the chocolate, falls into a coma, and goes into her ancestral past to seek the secret. But the problem is, will she ever be able to come back to the present or will she be stuck in the past?
