Gregor the Overlander is a very good story. There are bats, rats, spiders, and many more types of characters. Suzanne Collins (the writer) did a very good job with this book. I recommend this book for sci-fi, fantasy, and adventure story lovers. There is so much excitement and suspense. You fall in love with the characters easily. Gregor and boots (his younger sister) fall down a hole in the laundry room. They land in the underland and Gregor has to face the fact he may never see his mom and other sister. He soon finds out his father (that went missing years ago) may be in the underland. He goes on a journey with a lot of battles and life's lost.

It says the book is aimed for 8 to 12 year olds but I personally think it's for anyone that like sci-fi and adventure books. There may be a couple words that could be hard, and the language in it is fine.

I don't really know the emotion, but in some parts it makes your jaw drop. Also in other parts it makes you want to cry and also laugh

The book is about an 11yr old boy that falls down a hole in the laundry room with his sister. He lands in the underland and has lots of thoughts of escaping. Then war breaks out. Gregor must fulfill the prophecy to find his dad and get home.

In conclusion, I suggest that fantasy, adventure, and sci-fi lovers read this book. It's very entertaining and has a lot of suspense in it. I promise that you will get intrigued easily. There is also a lot of suspense.
