Legend by Marie Lu
If anyone out there is looking for a different type of adventure then Legend is the book for you. I loved the twists and turns that it held. I simply could not put it down. Some parts were, what seemed, predictable but Marie Lu executed them perfectly. I would recommend this book to teens possibly looking for a hot new book (this book is part of a trilogy).
The book is about a girl, named June, who is one of the smartest kids the Republic has seen. She has no reason to care about a criminal (a boy named Day). That is of course until her last family member is killed, and Day is the prime suspect. The two end up finding secrets no one else knows. Secrets no one can know. They find out about the real story behind their twisted Republic. Now they have to decide how far they are willing to go to reveal these secrets.
