True Legend
The book/novel True Legend was written by Mike Lupica. He is a well-known author. Lupica mainly focuses on sports books for kids and teens. He also authored the novels Summer Ball, Miracle On 49th Street, Travel Team and many more. I really enjoy reading Mike Lupica’s books.
True Legend is a fictional sports novel for the youth. Its setting is in Agoura Hills, California. The books main character is Drew Robinson also known as True Robinson. He got the nickname “True” from a sports writer referring to him being the real deal in basketball. Robinson is a high school superstar. He plays for Oakley Prep a high school academy that cares about their basketball program. They face their first challenge when they match up against Park Prep a basketball powerhouse. More importantly Drew faces his initial conflict, King Gadsen.
