The Encylclopedia of the Civil War. by Scholastic
The encyclopedia of the Civil War is the most exciting and descriptive book on the Civil War that I have read. This book is a great read and will give you better knowledge on the civil war.
The book is about the civil war but the book goes into way more detail about the battles and events before and after the civil war. This book also excels at explaining how the battle was on both sides of the war and at the side on some pages it gives you some information on a topic related to what is on the page. I think is successful because of the amount of detail in each page of the book.
I personally like this book because I am a very big history person but, I think anybody who likes to read would like this book and anybody who wants to know more about the civil war should read this book.
This book left me with a better knowledge of the civil war and I also enjoyed it so much that I read it twice and anybody who reads this book would do the same.
