My Side of The Mountain
Most kids who say their going to run away get as far as the end of the street and turn back. But Sam Gribley gets that far and farther, in a thrilling story of courage, survival, and independence. This book made be over half a century old, but it’s still an excellent piece of writing that is very hard to put down. This story could quite possibly be the best book of the 1950’s. I loved every moment of this book and was disappointed when it ended. I highly recommend this book to just about anyone at any level of reading.
