The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins
16-year-old Katniss Everdeen Has been chosen to compete in the Hunger Games, which means a fight til the death. She was good at killing, well animals of course she never killed an actual person. Her and her hunting partner gale Hawthorne are like brother and sister, they act alike and even look alike. During the reaping Katniss's 12-year-old sister gets called to go into the hunger games, but katniss bravely steps in and takes her place. The other competitor from her district is a boy who saved her life once Petta Mellark, she always told herself she would never stop owing him, and her living means his death. Peeta even reveals some shocking information that will make killing him even harder.
