The Big Friendly Giant
I find Kathleen’s article “The Big Friendly Giant” very interesting. She talks about how she “wished how being labeled changed her for some time. It made me realize how much one is affected by their surroundings. Unlike Kathleen I viewed height and being tall as pride and joy. I was happy to use height for my advantage. Reading this article opened my eyes to how something I thought was a blessing was a curse for someone else. I’m very greatful that in the end we appreciate who we are. Thank you Kathleen Roughgarden for expanding my view on the world.
