A Review on CHOiES's Sleek Black Dress
In desperate need of a stylish yet cheap dress on short notice, I rifled through the darkest depths of the internet and discovered an online fashion outlet website titled “CHOiES.” CHOiES sold not only inexpensive clothing and accessories, but also guaranteed the products being sold to their customers were of “great quality.” Seeking what the website had to offer me, I finally found a suitable, sleek black dress priced at $15.00. Upon receiving it, however, I learned that the quality of this dress was much less than “great.”
The first thought that darted across my mind as I unwrapped the package at my door was: “Is this a T-shirt?” The material this “dress” was crafted from was much cheaper than its price. In fact, the dress itself was lighter than the paper package it arrived inside of! As I unfolded the dress, I was insulted by the countless wrinkles that consumed the black cloth. “Surely, this must be a mistake,” I thought.
Occasionally, appearances may be worse than reality; in the case of this dress, reality was worse. As I slipped the dress over my body, I noticed the material was as thin as an undershirt, but at least undershirts have the decency to mask what lies underneath! The dress was nearly transparent! In addition, the dress did not even reach below my rear end, which must have been a flaw in the design, for I guaranteed that the sizing and scaling of the dress was consistent with my body measurements.
Recalling how flattered the model’s curves seemed to be in the very dress that barely stretched over my body, I felt cheated. Although the dress was rather cheap, and I did not expect quality worth $100.00, I at least expected a product that stayed true to its description. The icing on the cake is that as I began to remove the dress, my fingernail tore at the bottom edge, and a hole the size of a dime emerged.
Nevertheless, I found a purpose for what appeared to be a curse in my life; the dress now serves as a dish towel. I recommend only one thing: do not pursue last minute shopping online. The odds are forever against you.
