Five Finger Death Punch
The article titled “Five Finger Death Punch,” written by Jordan Gust, talks about the author's memories through music. Her writing left me feeling lost in my own memories. When I read this article, I knew I would connect well with it. I am very familiar with this music. I grew up on it. I remember always being in the weight room with my dad while Five Finger Death Punch and Disturbed were blaring through the speakers. It brings me back to the sweaty August days. My dad and whoever he would be lifting with that day would be tearing up the weights. It was always a fun sight to see. The hard rock and metal genres are the basis of my teen years. I still listen to these bands today. My all-time favorite is “Got The Life” by Korn. Many hours were spent in the car and in the weight room rocking out with no care in the world.
