Write A Poem
I have so many thoughts circulating in my head
Thinking of any way to express them
So many that stay and go unsaid
I know! I’ll Write a Poem.
Writing poetry can’t be that hard, right?
Wrong.
Writing poetry can take all night.
Writing poetry can last all day long.
Writing poetry doesn’t need to be a disaster
Writing poetry can be fun
To write poetry you don’t need to be a master
As long as it gets the job done.
Pen in hand
Paper on the table
Writing so much that you can barely stand
Words so explosive the poem becomes unstable
Before you know it, it will be over
Your goal accomplished
Now you’re ready to take over
Because You just wrote a poem.
