Beard
Look at my glorious beard
The finest you’ll ever see
People may look at me weird
But I just move on carefree
I wash all of my whiskers
Over, under, and between
They're good at hiding blisters
So I look both tough and mean
All my buddies told me
I looked like Deke Dasilva
But my mother disagreed
“You look like a gorilla”
Order to shave it away
Why did I have to obey

This is another poem my teacher challenged me to write. I had a beard for my school's musical and he wanted me to write about it.
