Ticking Time
There is never enough
We say we’ll do things
We say we’ll be there, but these are bluffs
Our promise never clings.
Everyone is too busy
Making plans is a chore
Trying to keep track makes us dizzy
As the clock ticks on, everyone is abore.
We waste it
We spend too much of this
To no one person it fits
This is truly a miss
Time is infinite
But our time is definite.
