Spring
The frost is steadily drifting away,
Light sinking in, darkness can no longer play.
Flowers are blooming and the breeze has lay,
New beginnings from another cannot stay.
Dandelions dance spreading new life about,
They travel with the wind waking true spirits.
We watch as the creatures and flora sprout,
Sounds of true existence no longer crickets.
We awake the sky and hope it does cry,
For it takes the pain of yesterday.
Just look at the sky, sing a lullaby
Spring has sprung and has helped it chase away.
No more feeling sorrow until return
Winter has erased the mind, that’s its pattern.
