Sunset Sonnet
An array of colors so beautiful
Lights up the sky with a fiery glow
The flow of the colors is musical
It leaves fast while I want it to go slow
The sun is a paintbrush, colors and clouds
Orange and pink combined to make a masterpiece
Then the darkness begins to overcrowd
The light is covered, wrapped in a dark fleece
I am left alone without beauty
The light and the magic is all gone
Black is the only thing that I can see
The moon appears and I begin to yawn
The beauty will come back another day
Shrouded in darkness, under stars I lay
