Serenity
The calming simplicity of the sun
endless colors spread out in the clear sky
grandma just baked fresh, sweet cinnamon buns
the world so quiet you can hear a fly
the scent of flowers beginning to bloom
the wood floor cool to the touch of my feet
a life full of wonder outside my room
as I gaze out the window from my seat
the smell of fresh coffee fills the whole house
Birds fly from tree to tree chirping a song
Beneath the tall grass there may be a mouse
I wish I could just sit here all day long
I never thought the world was so unique
Until I stopped and stared to take a peak
