Black Bird Soar High
Twas only when I called upon the moon,
I heard a dreaming bird silentious cries;
If not for the lovely late afternoon,
I would not know the color of her eyes,
In my world I know of nothing but pain,
like this dreaming bird my cries are not heard.
I know one day I’ll soon soar in flight with cranes,
until then I will always be unheard.
Vanish in rising winds all sorrows past,
Even though inside I am so depressed,
my words and my thoughts will never be last,
People around me will never have guessed.
My silver feathers sparkle diamond bright,
on swift storm winds I soar-jubilant flight.
