Home Without You
Walking around in areas so small.
There was no destination in my tiny mind.
Sometimes I don’t know if I’m going anywhere at all.
Often I go in blind
With nothing but a burning fire.
It was hard to watch you leave me so soon.
I had to admit that you were truly something dyer.
Once you left it never seemed to pass noon.
The clock ticked by slowly.
Your disappearance never seemed to hurt so much.
Everyone believed you to be holy.
I didn’t think I would ever believe in such.
Finally I have found a place to call a home,
But it’s a place I’ll always have to roam.
