Sonnet Lily
Love can not be grown by just a plant seed;
My older half-sister was quite silly,
In life, love is what you will always need;
She will always be my special Lily.
I should not be feeling so blue deep down;
But it is hard knowing that she is gone,
Even though she has left my happy town;
I will always wake up every dawn.
She eill forever be in my big heart;
It is hard not being able to see,
It's hard knowing we are living apart;
But Lily is exactly just like me.
Although I will not see my Lily soon,
I know she will always be in the moon.
I wrote this freshman year in my English class during our Shakspear section and I wrote it after my sister died. I wrote it about three to five days after my sister passed away.
