A story of the adolescent age,
about the lives of eight youths, much like us.
Filled with pure, arrogant, impotent rage,
lust, tiredness, drugged bliss, and animus.
Spirit, courage, agony, passion, wrath;
emotion we all face, our lives are like
living on a shard of breakable glass,
relief by pills and spliff, peace found each night.
Adults think we have no real, true substance,
but as our lives crash like waves on the sand,
our fury was made based on their absence;
we stall stand together, one mighty band.
Rise and Fall, Life moves ever on and on;
Never have to say goodbye, Battle On.
