Brewing Up a Storm
Snake's sly venom seeps into my veins;
Hairs quickly stand on the back of my spine.
It feels like I'm paralyzed from the pain;
This continues to happen time after time.
But thoughts are the actual murderers;
They have no remorse slowly killing me.
They steal my happiness like burglars,
And I used to think thoughts set someone free.
I try to remove them but they're infinite.
Just one shot is all that it will take;
The clock ticks with every passing minute,
But then I realize what is at stake.
And the reason all of these feelings brew,
are absolutely because of you.
