Endless Love
I will never forget that very first day.
It was late spring, beginning of May.
You saw me there and that was all it took
With my head down, nose in a book
As you came with a story my way
I watched you silently convey.
Can I get to know you, you say.
You watch me expectantly, giving me that look.
I will never forget that very first day.
That night you came, was kind of cliché.
You took me to dinner in a fancy café,
And ended the night with a kiss, as I shook
15 years later, together with new born Brooke
Being the best day of my life, but okay
I will never forget that very first day.
